Our lounge is becoming laughable
The other day a section of trim from the ceiling in our lounge fell down. It did this with no encouragement from any of us. It's like we were replicating Newton's experiment with the apple, but using a 2 meter long stick with nails poking out of it.
In addition to the crappy workmanship on the ceiling, most of the walls are made of glorified paper, not proper wallboard ("gib" as they say here), which makes life a living hell when you attempt to use steam to remove the wallpaper. So much for just peeling and painting.
But enough of my complaining. How are you all doing?

Hey hey,
hummm..... give me a bit to figure this out..... my work computer doesn't like this blogging thing.
Ah ha,
It is nice to see the story of New Zealand continues. As for myself I'm slowly(or not too slowly) becoming sick of work, but hopefully I'll fall into an arcaeology company to finish out the summer.... then once I figure out what school to go to and find some way to finance said schooling I leave to find a new home for a year.
Anyway, I enjoy reading your posts so if you could keep-r-up that would be great. Oh, and I really enjoyed hearing Merrett's and Aidan's voices (I've listened to then several times and they always bring a smile to my face)
I think about you folks often,
Karl
ps. my boss, who will soon become Alex's roommate, says hello.
Hi Guys,
I love reading your updates and hearing what's happening in your lives. I too listen to the girls voices now and then and my favourite is Aidan's "I loooove chocolate"...we play it for people and it is funny every time. Your house sounds like a challenge, maybe now you know why the previous owners painted over wallpaper etc. they knew how crappy the job was to get it off. We hope you are all well and that you are at least getting some kind of summer. We are all good, Indigo turns one next month, is getting new teeth nearly every week and growing quickly, how time flies.
Love Ya's
Rhyl, Grant and Indie x
I've finally figured out how to post comments. You can now look forward to snide remarks for all future posts!
Susan and I think of youse guys every day, and hope you're all doing well.
Later skaters.
Matt.
